The Sand Ridge Junior Invitational
This event is one of Ohio's premiere junior golf events. It's played at the Sand Ridge Club in Chardon, OH and is part of the Mayfield Sand Ridge Club in Cleveland, OH. The Tom Fazio design is a masterpiece and one of the best in America. Sand Ridge is pure undisturbed golf on a magnificent piece of land. The course is finely manicured around protected wetlands and an Audubon sanctuary. There is simply nothing like the experience of Sand Ridge. It even offers Stay and Play, with four executive cabins on the property.

Notice to Contestants:
Format: Stroke Play Competition over 36 Holes (2 Days)
Caddie bibs and name panels will be provided for all players who signed up by July 5. All caddie bibs and name panels must be returned to the caddie bib rack immediately after play each day. Charges will apply if not returned as instructed.
Agenda:
Day 1 - Monday
- Tee Times start at 12:00 PM off #1 and #10
- Lunch on the back patio will be served from 10:45 AM to 1:30 PM
- Lunch is included for the players
- Lunch for caddies and spectators can be purchased at lunch for $20 per person
Day 2 - Tuesday
- Tee Times start at 8:00 AM off #1 and #10, pairings will be assigned based on day 1 scores
- Lunch on the back patio will be served from 12:15 AM to 3:00 PM
- Lunch is included for the players
- Lunch for caddies and spectators can be purchased at lunch for $20 per person
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds for Juniors only available after 4:00 PM on July 9 &10 ($35). Contact the Sand Ridge golf shop to arrange (440) 285-8088.
Awards and Deciding Ties
The top 3 in each age division will receive awards at the end of play on Tuesday. All girls will play in one division. Ties for 1st will be decided by Sudden Death Playoff. Ties for 2nd and 3rd will be decided by matching score cards using the USGA recommended method as outlined in Appendix 1 of the Rules of Golf booklet.
NCJT Player Eligibility
NCJT Eligibility is based on the Classic Cup points from 2021 or thru July 1, 2022. If you meet the qualifying criteria for either year then you are qualified, however it's a very difficult course, so we do recommend that players with an average score of 100 or more not enter. No official invite will be sent, just go ahead and register to play, and your entry will be accepted.
Boys 16-19: Top 30
Boys 15&U: Top 20
Girls 19&U: Top 10
At-Large Invitations: Joe Haase Cup qualifiers from any tour, from any year are eligible. Additional invitations go to elite juniors in the region. (Deadline = July 6 for all At-Large Invites). If you feel like you should be in the field, please contact Mr. Milam at tmilam@ncjt.org with some recent playing accomplishments.
